Date & Time:
Join us for the inaugural Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Training Day at the University of Calgary and Cumming School of Medicine on September 30th from 10:30 – 5:00 at the Health Sciences Centre.
Participants can expect to be immersed in the 17 SDGs through interactive workshops, breakout sessions and a solution-design workshop. As well as our keynote lecture from Vinicius Pinheiro, Special Representative to the United Nations and Director of ILO International Labour Organisation.
It will be a great way to network with community leaders, faculty, and your peers. All participants from the training will receive a certificate from the Foundation for Environmental Stewardship in the fundamentals of the Sustainable Development Goals. Lunch and refreshments will be included!
This year’s event has been made possible through partnerships between the Canadian Coalition for Global Health Research – UCalgary (CCGHR), the Humanitarian Alliance, and Strategic Partnerships and Community Engagement’s Global Maternal Child Health Team at the Cumming School of Medicine.
