Rohingya Crisis; current situation and efforts by Pakistani organizations. A coordination meeting announced by TABA

Rohingya Crisis has proved one of the worst crisis ever. There are estimated 400,000-500,000 Rohingiyan refugees in Bangladesh and many Rohingiyan Refugees are also settled in Aceh Refugee Camps (Indonesia) as well as in Thailand, Malaysia and Pakistan. In last one week, more than 150,000 fresh refugees have entered Bangladesh. UNHCR has confirmed registration of 125,000 new refugees in Bangladesh.

Like always, number of dedicated & committed welfare entities of Pakistan have started relief efforts for serving brothers & families/ refugees in aforementioned camps. There are number of donors as well who would like to know about the actual scenario of the crisis and efforts being done and would like to contribute.

TABA Disaster Management Cluster has arranged a meeting where current situation and efforts will be shared by the esteemed organizations like AlKhidmat Foundation, Kawish Welfare Trust, Human Relief Foundation and Human Appeal International who are working on ground in the field. We will make a joint strategy with consent to streamline Relief Efforts for the refugees so that duplication & waste of resources can be minimized & controlled INSHALLAH, therefore your kind presence shall be of paramount importance to make it happen
