October 21, 2017 Istanbul:
OIC-NGOs Academy arranged one day capacity building workshop as side event for the NGO’s representatives participating “International City and Civil Society Organisations” summit (20-22 October) at Yildiz Technical University Istanbul. The summit was organised by municipality of Esenler in which delegates from 60 countries participated and total 35 sessions were delivered.
Experienced trainers delivered sessions on different topics including;
– Dr. Mumtaz Hussain (Ass. Professor at Karachi University): “Effective Nonprofit Leadership”.
– Mr. Zafar Iqbal (Executive Director THE NGO WORLD): “Social Media for Impact”.
– Dr. Zafar Qadir (Chairman Taaleem Foundation): Effective Use of Technology for Nonprofits”.
– Mr. Murat Oyar (Manager Turkiye Diyanet Vakfi): Sustainability of organisation”.
The OIC-NGOs Academy is joint of SESRIC and THE NGO WORLD (INGOLAM) with aim to build capacity and strengthen professional networking among the nonprofit organisations from OIC member countries and to prepare them for better service of their target communities.
