World Animal Protection is a global animal welfare organisation with 50 years’ experience in moving the world to protect animals. Our Wildlife. Not Entertainers campaign aims to end the suffering of hundreds of thousands of wild animals used and abused in the tourism entertainment industry. In 2015, Oxford University’s Wildlife Conservation Research Unit analysed 24 different types of wildlife attractions across the world. It included an analysis of TripAdvisor, in order to better understand the awareness levels of tourists visiting these wildlife venues.
