First phase of 4-Days Teachers' Training, in collaboration with Japan International Coordination Agency (JICA)

First phase of 4-Days Teachers’ Training, in collaboration with Japan International Coordination Agency (JICA) and Directorate Non-Formal Education, School Education Department (SED), Govt. Of Sindh, for nominated teachers of selected partners under Sindh Education Foundation’s Adolescent and Adult Learning and Training Program (AALTP) formally ended on Saturday 16th September, 2017.

The training activity touched the key aspects of pedagogical delivery, and sensitized trainees about the necessary techniques for imparting Non-Formal Education. The major objectives of the training were to enable teachers in understanding the philosophy of NFE, utility of textual material and teachers’ guides, and capacity building of teachers to implement methodologies and approaches.

The aforementioned training was a part of Foundation’s continuous efforts towards quality education.

The event was graced by the presence of Ms. Chiho Ohashi, Chief Advisor-JICA, Mr. Alam Thaeem, Director NFE, SED, Govt. Of Sindh, Mr. Rafique Mustafa Shaikh, Director Programs and Planning, SEF, Govt. Of Sindh, and Ms. Gulnaz Jabeen, Provincial Coordinator, JICA who awarded certificates to the trainees.
